Axe Fruit is the entity dedicated to the industrial channel within the Brousse Vergez Group. It sells all of the Group's ranges of fruity inclusions: dried superfruits, dried Mediterranean fruits, seeds, candied fruits, canned fruits in syrup, fruit fillings ... with conventional or organic ranges. Axe Fruit also offers a customized approach in order to co-build with its industrial customers "tailor-made" product solutions.
Originally specialized in trading of dried superfruits (fruits rich in antioxidants that are supposed to have a beneficial effect on health) before its purchase by Brousse Vergez in 2014, Axe Fruit has retained this expertise in its DNA. It carries out a large part of its volumes on cranberries indeed, berries that are so popular in North America, thanks to a knowledge acquired from an American cooperative and leader in cranberry production and processing.
Axe Fruit's dried specialities also include goji berries, blackcurrants, blueberries, raspberries, mulberries, physalis (Cape gooseberries), chia seeds or quinoa. As well as a variety of diced dried or candied fruits.
With its organic certification (Ecocert), a wide selection of organic ingredients can also be found in these lines of fruits. Organic products represent nearly 45% of its business volume.
Axe Fruit works to serve food manufacturers, regardless of the business or application: chocolatiers and confectioners, processors, dairy products, ice cream makers, cereals and cereal bars, flour mills, bakeries, biscuit factories, pastry shops, and the list goes on.
