The most common variety of mini figs is calabacita or pajarero. It is cultivated almost quasi exclusively in Extramadura, in the South of Spain. Their small natural size and thin skin give them sweetness and softness, with a particularly delicate flavor.
The climate this year has been ideal for a good crop : intense rains during spring and a hot summer. The crop has started at the end of August for 4 weeks, figs are being collected around 3 times a week. The caliber is bigger than last year with 100-140 fruits /kg as average.
We propose our dried mini figs in 500g bag, 5 kg display (conventional or organic) and 10 kg.
